Maulana Muhammad Khan Sherani, the spiritual leader of the Islamic Clergy Community, declared on Saturday December 19 in Pakistan:
Muslim scholars should read the Koran, in which Mohammed writes: Enter the Holy Land which Allah has destined for you ˹to enter˺ (Sure 5:21). Muslims need to read the Koran and understand the text what the Koran says. The Koran and history prove to us that Israel belongs to the Jews. King David built the house of God in Jerusalem for the Israelis and not for the Palestinians.
Sherani announced before the meeting that he is in favour of normalization with the Jewish state of Israel.
The fact that spiritual leaders in Pakistan today admit Israel’s biblical inheritance law according to the Koran is a major turning point in Islam.
More and more Muslims in the Middle East are realizing that Israel is not an evil, but a blessing for the entire region. The last four normalizations or peace agreements between Israel and Arab countries also help. “This encourages the Pakistanis, because they say that if the UAE, Bahrain, Sudan and Morocco have agreed on normalization with the Jewish government in Israel, then it seems to be worthwhile.”
Sheikh Ahmed Aladoan of Amman publicly stated in 2014 that, according to Islamic scriptures, Israel belongs to the Jews.
Already in 2013 Ali Salim wrote on Gatestone: The children of Israel are mentioned countless times in the Koran as the chosen people – for example in the 2nd sura (al-baqara, the cow), verse 47: “O Children of Israel! Remember ˹all˺ the favours granted you and how honoured you above the others.”
